Arkansas High School Basketball - Smackover topped by Harmony Grove
January 12, 2024: Smackover, AR 71762 The Harmony Grove Hornets basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Smackover Buckaroos to 64 in the Hornets league victory on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host McGehee for a 3A Region 8 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Harmony Grove will battle a Owls team coming off a 52-51 league win over Dumas (Dumas, AR). The Owls record now stands at 16-3.
The Buckaroos (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Drew Central (Monticello, AR). The Pirates come into the 3A Region 8 contest with a 9-9 record.
