New Jersey High School Basketball - Secaucus knocked off by Rutherford
January 12, 2024: Secaucus, NJ 07094 The Rutherford Bulldogs basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Secaucus Patriots to 30 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Arlington for a Northwest Jersey - National contest on Wednesday, January 17. Rutherford will battle a Vikings team coming off a 60-51 league win over Weehawken (Weehawken, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 7-6.
The Patriots (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Becton (East Rutherford, NJ). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Becton was defeated by Rutherford (Rutherford, NJ), 75-45, in a non-league contest.
