Broken Bow Savages (Broken Bow, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hugo Buffaloes (Hugo, OK), 62-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Broken Bow upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Savages host Elk City (Elk City, OK) to play the Elks in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Elks go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Elk City won 55-42 in their recent league bout against Blanchard (Blanchard, OK)

Next up, the Buffaloes play the Ada Cougars (Ada, OK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Hugo will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 53-32 non-league win over Seminole (Seminole, OK).
