The San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX), 81-49 in Friday's league test.

The Rattlers (18-5) will now prepare for their test against Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Knights go into the 6A Region IV District 27 test with a 20-8 record. In their last test, Steele walloped New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX), 80-36, in a league test.

The Buffaloes now own a 17-11 record. They play next when they host Judson for a 6A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, January 16. Clemens will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 49-29 league win over East Central (San Antonio, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 22-5.
