Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) and the visiting Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD), saw Chopticon's basketball squad overcome Leonardtown by a tally of 63-51.

With the victory, Chopticon improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Braves travel to McDonough (Pomfret, MD) to play the Rams in a challenge on Wednesday, January 17. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. McDonough won 55-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD)

Next up, the Raiders play the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Leonardtown will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record.
