North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), 59-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Point upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to McDonough (Pomfret, MD) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 12-1. McDonough won 50-47 in their recent non-league bout against La Plata (La Plata, MD)

Next up, the Braves play the Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, February 7. Chopticon will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record.
