California High School Basketball - Clairemont holds off Point Loma
January 12, 2024: San Diego, CA 92117 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA), saw Clairemont's basketball squad hold off Point Loma by a tally of 55-49.
With the victory, Clairemont improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Sweetwater (National City, CA) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 1-14. Sweetwater lost 48-46 in their recent league challenge against Southwest SD (San Diego, CA)
Next up, the Pointers confront the Crawford Colts (San Diego, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Point Loma will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 56-54 non-league loss to Kearny (San Diego, CA).
