California High School Basketball - Point Loma nudges Canyon Hills
January 19, 2024: San Diego, CA 92106 Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Canyon Hills Rattlers (San Diego, CA), 60-57 in a league bout.
With the win, Point Loma upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Pointers host Coronado (Coronado, CA) to clash with the Islanders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Islanders go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Coronado lost 50-16 in their recent non-league bout against Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA)
Next up, the Rattlers clash with the Kearny Komets (San Diego, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Canyon Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Komets go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 67-24 non-league win over Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA).
