Washington High School Basketball - Monroe knocked off by Mountlake Terrace
January 12, 2024: Monroe, WA 98272 The Mountlake Terrace Hawks basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Monroe Bearcats to 44 in the Hawks non-league victory on Friday.
With the victory, Mountlake Terrace upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Everett (Everett, WA) to play the Seagulls in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Seagulls come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Everett won 46-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Shorecrest (Seattle, WA)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Newport - Bellevue Knights (Bellevue, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 60-59 non-league loss to Redmond (Redmond, WA).
