Washington High School Basketball - Shorewood overwhelms Monroe
January 25, 2024: Shoreline, WA 98133 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Shorewood Stormrays (Shoreline, WA) and the visiting Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA), saw Shorewood's basketball squad wallop Monroe by a count of 53-19.
With the victory, Shorewood upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Stormrays travel to Shorecrest (Seattle, WA) to play the Scots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Scots go into the test with a record of 3-12. Shorecrest won 49-42 in their recent non-league test against Cascade (Everett, WA)
The Bearcats now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Everett for a non-league test on Monday, January 29. Monroe will encounter a Seagulls squad coming off a 47-46 non-league loss to Arlington (Arlington, WA). The Seagulls record now stands at 7-9.
