The Central Eagles basketball team (Pageland, SC), was nudged 56-51 in Friday's league battle with the host Andrew Jackson Volunteers (Kershaw, SC)

The Volunteers now possess a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cheraw for a AA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Andrew Jackson will battle a Braves team coming off a 72-52 league loss to Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC). The Braves record now stands at 7-12.
