Ohio High School Basketball - Carrollton tops Marlington
January 13, 2023: Alliance, OH 44601 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Carrollton Warriors (Carrollton, OH) and the host Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH), saw Carrollton's basketball squad knock off Marlington by a count of 45-35.
With the victory, Carrollton upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Steubenville (Steubenville, OH) to play the Big Red in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Big Red come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Steubenville won 76-67 in their recent league challenge against East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH)
Next up, the Dukes play the Southeast Pirates (Ravenna, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Marlington will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 56-46 non-league loss to LaBrae (Leavittsburg, OH).
