Ohio High School Basketball - West Branch knocked off by Marlington
December 9, 2022: Alliance, OH 44601 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) and the visiting West Branch Warriors (Beloit, OH), saw Marlington's basketball squad knock off West Branch by a count of 64-49.
With the victory, Marlington upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Dukes travel to Minerva (Minerva, OH) to play the Lions in a Eastern Buckeye challenge on Friday, December 16. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
Next up, the Warriors play the Academy for Urban Scholars Hawks (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. West Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 67-9 non-league loss to Neshannock (New Castle, PA).
