The Martin Warriors basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Grand Prairie Gophers to 41 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arlington for a 6A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Martin will battle a Colts team coming off a 54-44 league win over Lamar (Arlington, TX). The Colts record now stands at 9-12.

The Gophers (6-18) will now prepare for their contest against Sam Houston (Arlington, TX). The Texans enter the 6A Region I District 8 contest with a 19-7 record. In their last contest, Sam Houston was routed by Martin (Arlington, TX), 77-73, in a league contest.
