January 13, 2023: Reading, MA 01867 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MA) and the host Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA), saw Lexington's basketball squad overcome Reading Memorial by a tally of 80-67.
With the victory, Lexington improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Melrose (Melrose, MA) to confront the Red Raiders in a Middlesex challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Melrose lost 75-58 in their recent league challenge against Burlington (Burlington, MA)
Next up, the Rockets confront the Watertown Red Raiders (Watertown, MA) in a Middlesex challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Reading Memorial will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 53-51 league win over Wilmington (Wilmington, MA).
