Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Belmont Marauders (Belmont, MA), 53-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Reading Memorial upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Rockets travel to Lexington (Lexington, MA) to play the Minutemen in a Middlesex bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 8-6.

Next up, the Marauders play the Arlington Spy Ponders (Arlington, MA) in a Middlesex bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Belmont will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Spy Ponders go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 48-47 league win over Winchester (Winchester, MA).
