In Friday's league match, the host South Mountain Jaguars basketball team scored a decisive 60-35 triumph over the Metro Tech Knights.

In their next game, the Jaguars meet the McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) in a 5A Metro match, on Monday, January 16. South Mountain will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Chargers enter the match with a 8-10 record after their 75-62 league win over Fairfax (Laveen, AZ).
