The Metro Tech Knights basketball team (Phoenix, AZ), was overwhelmed 89-30 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ)

The Bobcats now possess a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Mountain for a 5A Metro battle on Thursday, January 26. Central will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 38-30 league win over Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-15.

The Knights (0-20) will now prepare for their battle against North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Rattlers come into the 5A Metro battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, North Canyon trounced Fairfax (Laveen, AZ), 78-43, in a league battle.
