In Friday's league match, the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings basketball team scored a decisive 66-37 triumph over the Warren County Eagles.

In their next game, the Vikings meet the Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC) in a 1A Conference 9 match, on Tuesday, January 17. Northwest Halifax will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 6-6 record after their 59-58 league win over Weldon (Weldon, NC).
