Iowa High School Basketball - Red Oak overwhelms St. Albert
January 13, 2023: Council Bluffs, IA 51503 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA) and the host St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA), saw Red Oak's basketball squad wallop St. Albert by a tally of 84-48.
With the victory, Red Oak improves its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Atlantic (Atlantic, IA) to confront the Trojans in a Hawkeye Ten challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Atlantic lost 72-64 in their recent league challenge against Harlan (Harlan, IA)
Next up, the Falcons confront the AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. St. Albert will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 54-53 non-league loss to Underwood (Underwood, IA).
