December 20, 2022: Denison, IA 51442 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA) and the visiting Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA), saw Denison-Schleswig's basketball squad overcome Red Oak by a tally of 69-57.
With the victory, Denison-Schleswig improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA) to confront the Golden Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 2. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Mid-Prairie lost 75-66 in their recent non-league challenge against Solon (Solon, IA)
Next up, the Tigers confront the St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Red Oak will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record.
