Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Virgin Valley Bulldogs (Mesquite, NV) and the visiting Somerset Sky Pointe Eagles (Las Vegas, NV), saw Virgin Valley's basketball squad hold off Somerset Sky Pointe by a count of 2-0.

With the victory, Virgin Valley upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon (Henderson, NV) to play the Pirate in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Pirate come into the challenge with a record of 7-2.
