The Virgin Valley Bulldogs basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Equipo Academy Yeti to 26 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moapa Valley for a 3A Southern - Desert contest on Friday, February 10. Virgin Valley will battle a Pirates team coming off a 71-51 league win over Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon (Henderson, NV). The Pirates record now stands at 15-10.
The Yeti (0-17) will now prepare for their contest against Somerset Sky Pointe (Las Vegas, NV). The Eagles enter the 3A Southern - Desert contest with a 11-13 record. In their last contest, Somerset Sky Pointe was routed by Somerset Academy Losee (North Las Vegas, NV), 54-39, in a league contest.
