West Virginia High School Basketball - Tug Valley routs Van
January 13, 2023: Williamson, WV 25661 In Friday's league outing, the Tug Valley Panthers (Williamson, WV) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Van Bulldogs (Van, WV), by a count of 82-51.
The Panthers (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Mingo Central (Matewan, WV). The Miners go into the non-league outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Mingo Central was crushed by WestSide (Clear Fork, WV), 62-54, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Meadow Bridge for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 17. Van will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 73-35 league loss to Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-8.
