West Virginia High School Basketball - Sherman overwhelmed by Tug Valley
January 10, 2023: Williamson, WV 25661 The Sherman Tide basketball team (Seth, WV), was routed 88-55 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Tug Valley Panthers (Williamson, WV)
The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Van for a Freelance battle on Friday, January 13. Tug Valley will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-44 non-league loss to Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-7.
The Tide (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Midland Trail (Hico, WV). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Midland Trail trounced Meadow Bridge (Meadow Bridge, WV), 76-32, in a non-league battle.
