West Virginia High School Basketball - Sherman nips Van
December 22, 2022: Seth, WV 25181 Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Van Bulldogs (Van, WV), 72-66 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sherman upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Tide host Sissonville (Charleston, WV) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Sissonville won 66-54 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders (Prosperity, WV) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Van will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 84-62 non-league loss to West Logan Christian Academy (Logan, WV).
