The Cedar Creek Cougars basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Ouachita Christian Eagles to 35 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saline for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Cedar Creek will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 63-36 league win over Dodson (Dodson, LA). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-8.

The Eagles (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Frederick (Monroe, LA). The Warriors enter the 1A District 2 contest with a 0-2 record.
