Louisiana High School Basketball - Cedar Creek overwhelms St. Frederick
January 20, 2023: Monroe, LA 71201 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA) and the host St. Frederick Warriors (Monroe, LA), saw Cedar Creek's basketball squad wallop St. Frederick by a tally of 44-15.
With the victory, Cedar Creek improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host River Oaks (Monroe, LA) to confront the Mustangs in a 1A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. River Oaks lost 42-26 in their recent league challenge against Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA)
Next up, the Warriors confront the West Ouachita Chiefs (West Monroe, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. St. Frederick will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
