The Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX) basketball nipped the visiting San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX), 62-57 in Friday's league test.

The Buffaloes (16-11) will now prepare for their test against Judson (Converse, TX). The Rockets go into the 6A Region IV District 27 test with a 15-11 record. In their last test, Judson got by East Central (San Antonio, TX), 57-45, in a league test.

The Rattlers now own a 12-14 record. They play next when they travel to Steele for a 6A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, January 17. San Marcos will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 59-39 league win over New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Knights record now stands at 19-10.
