California High School Basketball - Corning knocked off by Gridley

January 13, 2023: Corning, CA 96021

The Gridley Bulldogs basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Corning Cardinals to 27 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oroville for a Butte View contest on Tuesday, January 17. Gridley will battle a Tigers team coming off a 63-31 league loss to Orland (Orland, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-14.

The Cardinals (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 13-5 record.
