Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs (Pennington, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hamilton Hornets (Hamilton, NJ), 25-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hopewell Valley Central upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Princeton (Princeton, NJ) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Princeton won 52-44 in their recent non-league bout against Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ)

Next up, the Hornets play the Trenton Central Tornadoes (Trenton, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Hamilton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 60-33 league loss to Allentown (Allentown, NJ).
