Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX) and the visiting San Elizario Eagles (San Elizario, TX), saw Riverside's basketball squad wallop San Elizario by a tally of 55-29.

With the victory, Riverside improves its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Clint (Clint, TX) to confront the Lions in a 4A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 15-8.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX) in a 4A Region I District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. San Elizario will attempt to improve on its 11-16 season record.
