The Riverside Rangers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Loretto Angels to 27 in the Rangers non-league victory on Friday.

The Rangers now sport a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fabens for a 4A Region I District 2 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Riverside will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 55-24 league loss to San Elizario (San Elizario, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-19.

The Angels (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain View (El Paso, TX). The Lobos come into the non-league contest with a 15-11 record. In their last contest, Mountain View triumphed over Clint (Clint, TX), 38-20, in a league contest.
