California High School Basketball - Valencia tops Saugus

January 13, 2023: Valencia, CA 91355

Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA), 40-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Valencia upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Castaic (Castaic, CA) to play the Coyotes in a Foothill bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Coyotes come into the bout with a record of 1-11.

Next up, the Centurions play the West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA) in a Foothill bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Saugus will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 75-27 league loss to Canyon (Canyon Country, CA).
