The Valencia Vikings basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Castaic Coyotes to 7 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Ranch for a Foothill contest on Tuesday, December 6. Valencia will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 42-27 league loss to Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-4.

The Coyotes (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against The Palmdale Aerospace Academy (Palmdale, CA). The Griffins come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record.
