January 13, 2024: Waldoboro, ME 04572 The Belfast Lions basketball team (Belfast, ME), was overwhelmed 92-31 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME)
The Panthers now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morse for a B South battle on Monday, January 15. Medomak Valley will battle a Shipbuilders team coming off a 54-48 non-league win over Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME). The Shipbuilders record now stands at 3-7.
The Lions (0-9) will now prepare for their battle against Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Mount View was overwhelmed by Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME), 50-48, in a non-league battle.
