Maine High School Basketball - Medomak Valley tops Winslow
December 23, 2023: Waldoboro, ME 04572 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME) and the visiting Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME), saw Medomak Valley's basketball squad knock off Winslow by a count of 47-36.
With the victory, Medomak Valley upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Morse (Bath, ME) to play the Shipbuilders in a B South challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Shipbuilders come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Morse won 58-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Belfast (Belfast, ME)
The Black Raiders (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME). The Huskies come into the B North battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Maine Central Institute was toppled by Mount View (Thorndike, ME), 72-40, in a non-league battle.
