Mississippi High School Basketball - Booneville overwhelms New Site
January 13, 2024: Booneville, MS 38829 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Booneville Blue Devils (Booneville, MS) and the visiting New Site Royals (New Site, MS), saw Booneville's basketball squad wallop New Site by a tally of 77-49.
With the victory, Booneville improves its record to 18-2 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Biggersville (Corinth, MS) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 15. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Biggersville lost 61-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Madison Academy (Madison, AL)
Next up, the Royals confront the Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS) in a 2A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. New Site will attempt to improve on its 14-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 53-26 non-league loss to Amory (Amory, MS).
