January 13, 2024: Highland, MI 48357 The Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI), 47-29 in Saturday's league test.
The Mavericks (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Kettering (Waterford, MI). The Captains go into the Lakes Valley test with a 2-9 record.
The Eagles now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host South Lyon for a Lakes Valley test on Tuesday, January 16. Lakeland will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 51-44 league win over South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI). The Lions record now stands at 4-8.
