Michigan High School Basketball - Lakeland nips Walled Lake Northern
December 12, 2023: White Lake, MI 48383 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI) and the visiting Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI), saw Lakeland's basketball squad hold off Walled Lake Northern by a tally of 32-26.
With the victory, Lakeland improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Kettering (Waterford, MI) to play the Captains in a Lakes Valley challenge on Friday, December 15. The Captains come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Kettering lost 72-39 in their recent league challenge against South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI)
Next up, the Knights play the South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) in a Lakes Valley challenge, on Friday, December 15. Walled Lake Northern will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 72-39 league win over Kettering (Waterford, MI).
