The Normandy Invaders routed the visiting Valley Forge Patriots basketball team by a final score of 62-36 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Invaders face the Steele Comets (Amherst, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 15. Normandy will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Comets enter the game with a 6-5 record after their 57-34 league win over Elyria (Elyria, OH).

With the defeat, Valley Forge moves to 1-11 on the year. The Patriots host Cloverleaf (Lodi, OH) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Cloverleaf lost 83-47 in their recent league bout against Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH)
