Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Upper Dauphin Area thwarts Newport
January 13, 2025: Newport, PA 17074 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans (Elizabethville, PA) and the host Newport Buffaloes (Newport, PA), observed Upper Dauphin Area's basketball team knock off Newport by a score of 55-46.
The Trojans (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA). The WolfPack come into the Tri-Valley challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy was knocked off by Millersburg (Millersburg, PA), 48-47, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Buffaloes encounter the Greenwood Wildcats (Millerstown, PA) in a Tri-Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 14. Newport will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 51-38 league win over Susquenita (Duncannon, PA).
