In Monday's non-league test, the Westminster Christian Academy Lions (Watkinsville, GA) basketball squad defeated the host Trinity Prep Lions (Loganville, GA), by a final score of 65-53.

Next, the Lions clash with the Monsignor Donovan Catholic Rams (Athens, GA) in a GIAA AA Region 4 test, on Tuesday, January 14. Westminster Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 2-6 record after their 65-35 league loss to Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA).

The Lions (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Peachtree Academy (Covington, GA). The Panthers come into the GAPPS - I-A Region 3 test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Peachtree Academy went down by Providence Classical Christian (Oxford, GA), 70-45, in a league test.
