The Peachtree Academy Panthers basketball squad (Covington, GA), was nudged 60-53 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Trinity Prep Lions (Loganville, GA)

With the victory, Trinity Prep advances its record to 9-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Victory Baptist (Loganville, GA) to meet the Warrior in a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. The Warrior enter the battle with a record of 9-7. Victory Baptist won 79-31 in their recent league battle against Kings Way Christian School (Douglasville, GA)

The Panthers now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faith Christian Academy for a GAPPS - I-A Region 3 battle on Friday, January 17. Peachtree Academy will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 73-46 league loss to Alleluia Community (Augusta, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-5.
