The Riverdale Baptist Crusaders basketball squad (Upper Marlboro, MD), was outscored 70-61 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD)

With the victory, Mt. Zion Prep Academy advances its record to 15-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Pallotti (Laurel, MD) to meet the Panthers in a IAAM A battle on Wednesday, January 15. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 8-8. Pallotti won 49-29 in their recent non-league battle against Freedom (Woodbridge, VA)

The Crusaders now own a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodgrove for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. Riverdale Baptist will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 53-42 non-league loss to Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-5.
