In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Virginia Academy Patriots basketball team scored a big 67-44 triumph over the Riverdale Baptist Crusaders.

The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Potomac School (McLean, VA). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
