Three Rivers Bulldogs (Three Rivers, TX) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball team thwart the visiting Woodsboro Eagles (Woodsboro, TX), 41-33 in a league contest.

The Bulldogs (9-14) will now prepare for their contest against Refugio (Refugio, TX). The Bobcats go into the 2A Region IV District 31 contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Refugio was topped by Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX), 52-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Kenedy Lions (Kenedy, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 31 match, on Friday, January 16. Woodsboro will attempt to advance on its 3-19 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 1-14 record after their 58-48 league loss to Pettus (Pettus, TX).
