North Carolina High School Basketball - Harding University overwhelmed by South Mecklenburg

January 14, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28208

The South Mecklenburg Sabres basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Harding University Rams to 27 in the Sabres league victory on Friday.

The Sabres now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Non Varsity Tournament Opponent for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 15. South Mecklenburg will battle a team coming off a 51-23 non-league loss to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The record now stands at 22-99.

The Rams (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Indian Land was routed by York (York, SC), 36-28, in a league contest.
