North Carolina High School Basketball - South Mecklenburg thwarts Olympic

January 7, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28210

The South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), 66-49 in Friday's league test.

The Sabres (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs go into the 4A Conference 49 test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Myers Park notched a victory over Berry (Charlotte, NC), 56-29, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ardrey Kell for a 4A Conference 49 test on Tuesday, January 11. Olympic will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 69-29 league win over Harding University (Charlotte, NC). The Knights record now stands at 8-5.
