California High School Basketball - Helix nudges Monte Vista

January 14, 2022: Spring Valley, CA 91977

In Friday's league outing, the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) basketball squad edged the host Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA), by a margin of 63-56.

The Highlanders (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Fallbrook (Fallbrook, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Fallbrook held off Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA), 63-58, in a league outing.

The Monarchs now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Santana for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 15.
